I’ve been educated to never explain my writings. My friends do not need it and my enemies will not believe me anyway. Speaking on behalf of the entire Lily’s Coffee Group, I would like to express our thanks to the candidates for Malibu City Council for attending the Candidates “Public Information” Forum at Webster School, Thursday, February 28th. It was apparent that each candidate for Malibu City Council brings with them a dissimilar prospective on how the City should be administrated and the route Malibu as a city should be headed. The Lily’s Caf Steering Committee is a registered general-purpose political committee chronicled with the State of California under the California Fair Political Practices Commission. The Committee has the right to endorse or oppose a candidate or candidates for public office in this election.

It is the desire of the Lily’s Caf Steering Committee to do what it promised the voters of Malibu in this election and that is to be another source of information to be utilized in gathering voter data. The Lily’s Group has stated copious times that it offers information to the voters and that the voters make the final decision on any issue. The Lily’s Caf Steering Committee endorses nor opposes NO candidate for Malibu City Council in this election, but reserves the right to keep the Malibu Voter informed and educated. The Coffee Group encourages all Malibuites to become actively involved in local politics and support the candidate(s) of their choice. In a democracy it’s your vote that counts; under feudalism it was your count that voted. Vote in April.

And that is all I have to say.
