The following incidents were reported between 11/6 – 11/19:

11/6

The bicycle thief

Two bicycles worth a total of $8,600 were stolen from the top rack of a vehicle parked at PCH and Topanga Canyon Boulevard.

Suitcase snatched

A Ralph Lauren suitcase and assorted clothing were stolen from a hotel on Latigo Canyon Road.

Key club

Key fobs for several vehicles including an Acura MDX, Chevrolet Volt, Mazda3 and Hyundai Sonata, were stolen from a hotel on Latigo Canyon Road, though the vehicles were found in their parking spots.

11/6-11/7

Car caper

A vehicle parked on Kanan Dume Road had its window smashed and a MacBook Pro computer, along with a Jeep key fob, were stolen from the back seat.

Doorbell misdeed

A doorbell camera system was stolen from outside a home on PCH.

Beach break-in

A wallet, iPhone 7, $60 in cash and a BMW key fob were stolen from a vehicle parked at Leo Carrillo State Beach. They key had been left hidden in the vehicle’s grill.

Ransacked room

Sliding glass doors were broken and a house was ransacked on Via Linda Street, though it was impossible to tell if anything had been stolen from the property.

Careful crime

Two windows were broken in a residence on Winding Way, though nothing in the home appeared disturbed or missing. 

11/18

Pilfered pot

Medicinal marijuana was stolen from a home on PCH after burglars broke a window. Nothing else in the home appeared out of place.

Watch wreck

Two Cartier and one Ferragamo watch were stolen from a home on Winding Way, along with an 1800s Colt 45 firearm and $350 cash. This was the second break-in to that residence in 18 months.

Lexus larceny 

A wallet containing credit cards, plus a Lexus key fob, were stolen from a vehicle parked on Murphy Way.
