CineMalibu continues its ninth annual movie series in Bluffs Park with a screening of the classic animated film “Toy Story” on Saturday, Aug. 29.
The event includes food vendors and activities for the whole family to enjoy. Cheer Burger food truck and Apollo’s Espresso & Shave Ice will serve food. In addition, Malu Organic, organic apparel for babies and kids, and 27 Miles Malibu Fashion Boutique Truck will be selling clothes. There will be a Toy Story character appearance and a photo booth, according to the City of Malibu’s online event invitation.
The movie will kick off at dusk. Directed by John Lasseter, the adventure-packed animation is entertaining for all ages.
In the spirit of Toy Story, there will be a toy drive in memory of Jonah Stern, a beloved child of Malibu who lost his life to cancer at age 11. The drive will benefit the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital.
