So our City Council has squandered our money on an inadequate rental space that needs $200,000 worth of renovation before it can be of any use to anyone, rather than provide a permanent senior center on available Community Development land. The Malibu Senior Citizens Club suggests their reason may be to garner support for the Malibu Bay Company’s development project.
Regardless of the reason behind this Council decision, it proves these folks are not fit to make decisions for Malibu. We don’t need spendthrifts throwing away our tax dollars. Remember this when you go to the polls!
