The City of Malibu and The Malibu Times will observe changed hours for Memorial Day, May 28.
The Malibu Times office, located at 3864 Las Flores Canyon Road, will be closed on Monday, May 28. People items and sports briefs will be due on Friday, May 25, accordingly. Letters to the editor (no more than 350 words), obituaries, calendar items and news briefs will be accepted through noon on Tuesday, May 29, as usual. The deadline to reserve advertising space will be by 5 p.m. Thursday, May 25.
City Hall and Malibu Library will be closed all day on Memorial Day.
Per Malibu Municipal Code, construction will be halted on the holiday. This news brief will be updated online when the city announces its schedule for parks and facilities.
