Malibu resident Barbara Lampert has published “Charlie: A Love Story,” a memoir about her golden retriever Charlie.
What started out as a gardening journal soon became a day-to-day account of the unique friendship between Lampert and Charlie.
“Charlie had an incredible zest for life and great courage, and you’ll be amazed watching him overcome numerous health problems, despite his age and size,” a release from the publisher states. “Most of all, your heartstrings will be pulled by this once-in-a-lifetime relationship.”
Lampert works as a psychotherapist specializing in relationships. “Charlie: A Love Story,” published by Langdon Street Press, is her first book.
