Deputies from the Malibu/ Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station will participate in a mock teen party event hosted by Straight Up Ventura County (SUVC), a youth development group, on Saturday, Jan. 31.
The mock party will take place to educate parents about drug and alcohol use that occurs at parties that kids and teens attend. SUVC hosts them as part of their mission to promote social change when it comes to underage drinking and drug use. The events are designed for parents of children aged 12-25.
This mock party will take place at an Agoura Hills home from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. The exact address will be given when a reservation is made by calling 805.647.4622.
