The hipsters from “Entourage” have been a busy bunch this summer. The red hot cast chilled at the elegant Mandeville Canyon estate of Hayward Kaiser and Susan Harris, which served as the backdrop for this year’s Butterfly Ball and Chrysalis Foundation fundraiser. Adrian Grenier and his gang were there to fete their boss Doug Ellin, who was this year’s big honoree.

The boys brought along their Hollywood buds, including Chace Crawford of “Gossip Girl”, Jamie Lynn Sigler of “The Sopranos” and rapper-turned-actor Mark Wahlberg. Angie Harmon fluttered in wearing a floaty steel gray and lime green halter gown, while Eve opted for an indigo satin mini. The glitzy gang sipped cocktails as the sun went down, tucked into a gourmet dinner and enjoyed a few tunes courtesy of Faith Evans. The event was emceed by Seth MacFarlane of “Family Guy” and was co-chaired by local resident and longtime supporter Rick Hess.

The sizzling soiree raised more than $500,000 for Chrysalis, which provides employment services to the homeless and disadvantaged.

“This evening brings much needed attention to the homelessness in Los Angeles and a bright shining solution,” MacFarlane said. “It is helping put thousands of the members of this economically disadvantaged population back to work, back into society, and back with their families and friends.”

But there was more in store for the “Entourage” cast. They celebrated their new season at a posh premiere party at Paramount Studios. After a screening, 500 revelers headed for the outdoor party palace. The fountain garden area transformed to a beachy hot spot. The look was exotic with plenty of birds of paradise, philodendron and protea, animal prints, seashells, starfish and jungle vines. Five hundred revelers mingled around the glitzy grounds, snacking on canapes and sipping a bit of bubbly. Adrian looked super sharp in an electric blue suit and hot pink tie. Malibu’s Jeremy Piven was also well suited for the occasion, posing with Hayden Panettiere on the red carpet.

A-list caterer Along Comes Mary worked her magic serving up grilled beef, chicken with mushroom sauce, bread pudding with caramelized onions, fresh veggies and an eggplant parmigiana. Scenesters enjoyed some booty shaking tunes courtesy of Ravi Jakhotia, hitting the dance floor strutting their stuff till the midnight hour.

HANG TEN

Summer beach festivities moved down the coast to Huntington Beach as superstar surfer Laird Hamilton and board buddy Dave Kalama hosted the second annual Pipeline to a Cure for cystic fibrosis. Some of the world’s top wave riders joined the local legends to raise money and awareness for the cause. Mickey Munoz, Brett Simpson, Travis Mellem, Jeff Clark, Jericho Poplar, Sally Fitzgibbons, Gavin Beschen, Sunny Garcia and Kala Alexander were among the famous faces in the crowd, along with Laird’s wife Gabrielle Reece, actress Eva LaRue, and “Terminator” star Michael Papajohn.

They were putting their best foot forward at the silent auction, which featured celebrity-styled flip flops autographed by Katherine Heigl, Kate Bosworth, Dakota Fanning, Hayden Panettiere, Jewel and Tony Hawk.

The splashy event raised nearly $300,000 for Cystic Fibrosis Foundation research and patient care.
