Author Amy Weitman signed copies of her debut book “My Malibu Death” Friday in an effort to raise funds for Malibu Global Awareness, a foundation supporting Doctors Without Borders. More than 50 guests attended the event, which was hosted at local Malibu resident Farima Damavandi’s private residence. Weitman donated all proceeds from the sale of her book from the event to Doctor’s Without Borders, which will go directly to the Japan Tsunami Relief.
