This Tuesday marked the 18th annual Point Dume Fourth of July Parade and the crowd was bigger, brighter and more patriotic than ever. The longstanding community tradition includes hundreds of Point Dume residents and their friends and family, plus attendees from across Malibu, on dozens of decorated golf carts, classic cars, horses, scooters, bikes, and on foot. In the nearly two decades since the tradition began, the simple parade has turned into a true community gathering including a barbecue, games, music, recognition of veterans, city officials and more.
