A benefit concert headlining Bonnie Raitt has been scheduled at the Canyon Club on May 27 to benefit longtime Malibu resident Marty Grebb, who is currently fighting a battle with cancer.
Grebb, who is well known in the music industry for his collaborations with the likes of John Lennon, Elton John, Eric Clapton, Willie Nelson and more, including Bonnie Raitt herself, will receive proceeds from the concert to put toward medical bills for treatments and surgeries.
“The concert will be a truly unique, once-in-a-lifetime musical and philanthropic experience,” reads the statement released by concert planners.
Tickets, most of which include dinner, are available through the Canyon Club Box Office at 818.879.0591. Dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. on May 27, with the concert at 7:30. A VIP reception begins at 6 p.m.
The concert is hosted in partnership with the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, a nonprofit focused on providing aid to musicians battling sickness.
