Malibu United Methodist Church will host its 19th annual community Thanksgiving dinner from 11 a.m to 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 26. Three to four hundred local people in need and Malibu Community Labor Exchange workers are expected to attend.
Volunteers are still needed in all areas, including set up, cooking and clean up. Prepared food donations are also welcome.
Malibu Methodist is also partnering with Malibu Jewish Center and Synagogue to co-sponsor a toiletry and clothing drive to collect items which will be distributed to guests on the day of the Thanksgiving dinner. For more information and for volunteer sign-ups, call 310.589.5508.
