Autumn returned to Malibu this year with the annual Our Lady of Malibu Fall Festival, now in its 11th year. OLM families, friends and the Malibu community joined the festivities on Saturday outside the church on Winter Canyon.

Children headed straight for the rides and games; they sailed through the sky on the very popular zipline, bounced on the bungee trampoline, rode the wild mechanical shark, went to new heights on the rock wall, braved the haunted house and much more.

A variety of  delicious fare was available, including food and snacks for all ages and the Catholic Cantina and Bar Nun, which wet the whistle of those who wanted to spike the celebration. “Be Careful, it’s Habit Forming,” goes the punny tagline.

Live music added to the party with three local bands performing throughout the day: American Mile, Angel City Fiddle Squad, and Lenny Goldsmith and the New Old. Children and adults danced to the tunes.
