Malibu boys under-10 AYSO soccer team, Malibu United, won the 23rd Annual Armed Forces Day Tournament in their division in San Pedro last weekend. They beat 11 other teams in their fight to take home the hardware and did so in convincing fashion, winning 3-0, 7-1, 6-0 and beating West Torrance 4-2 in the championship game. The scoring was led by Jose Hernandez with seven goals and Kenny Averna with five goals, and nearly every player scored in the tournament.
