Two Webster students won honors in the National PTA Reflections Contest at the 33rd District PTA level. They were the only elementary school students from Malibu to achieve this ranking. Harley Rader was awarded second place in literature, in the primary category (K-2) and Alexandra Plank was awarded first place in visual arts in the intermediate category (3-5). Alexandra’s entry will be judged at the state level.
Reflections is an arts recognition and achievement program for students. This year’s theme was “I can make a difference by …” The 33rd District PTA is an umbrella group that includes the PTAs from a large portion of the county.
