In a recent advertisement in The Malibu Times, the developer for the Trancas PCH project ran an unwarranted attack on Patt Healy for the information she sent to West Malibu about Trancas PCH. I have known Patt for almost 10 years and during that time she has selflessly, for no material gain, spent countless hours serving the community, trying to preserve Malibu from being destroyed by inappropriate development such as the 32 condos, which were the subject of the ad.
Having served on the Malibu West Board with her for many years, I know her to be a person of integrity. She works tirelessly on behalf of Malibu West and the greater Malibu community. She has always presented information accurately and fairly. She is not against development but wants development that is appropriate for Malibu.
I have no doubt that the information she presents to the community is completely accurate. I seriously question the motive of a developer who spends his money on such a self-serving ad.
