The Parks and Recreation Department needs volunteers in order to maintain the city parks of Malibu.
According to the Malibu City website, “many hours of weeding, planting, watering, and mulching” are required in order to keep Malibu Bluffs and Legacy Park healthy.
Volunteers will be needed once a month at Legacy Park to help with maintenance. The city is accepting volunteer registration for the following Saturdays:
- Aug. 13
- Sep. 10
- Oct. 15
- Nov. 12
Volunteers will meet from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and water and snacks will be provided.
