From art festivals to movie screenings, here’s what’s happening this weekend in Malibu.
Saturday kicks off with the Malibu Arts Festival in the Civic Center, beginning at 10 a.m. The Malibu Optimist Club will hold its 51st annual Pancake Breakfast there on both Saturday and Sunday at 8 a.m. The festival will feature fine art exhibits, live entertainment, chalk artists, MaliBU Surf Cars, a wine garden, a Children’s Art Village and food, at the Malibu Civic Center, 23555 Civic Center Way. It continues through Sunday. Parking is $7.
CineMalibu, the summer outdoor movie series sponsored by the City of Malibu, continues Saturday evening with a screening of “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.” Activities and gourmet food trucks will be at Bluffs Park, 24250 Pacific Coast Highway, before the screening shows at 7 p.m. 310.456.2489

On Sunday, transpersonal hypnotherapist Mana will host a hypnotherapy seminar to heal stress anger, confidence and weight-loss issues at the Cornucopia Foundation Environmental Center behind Malibu High School, 301215 Morning View Drive, from 10:45 a.m. to 12 p.m.
