Steve Wiley died Dec. 23 at UCLA Hospital following a fall at his home the previous week. Wiley and his business partner, Maurey Kilbourn, have run the Country Kitchen Restaurant at La Costa Plaza for the past 32 years.
Wiley is survived by his mother, Grace, and his brother, David. A memorial celebrating Wiley’s life is planned for Jan. 9 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the California Wildlife Center, P.O. Box 2022, Malibu, CA 90265.
