There is no such thing as a free lunch. All the council candidates are for slow growth. No one wants over development. When I ran for office years ago, we had a plan and during the campaign we explained it. Our plan was to purchase Legacy Park and by doing so we stopped forever that property from being developed into a huge shopping mall. Jefferson Wagner voted against building Legacy Park. I preferred a park to a mall and never understood why Jefferson did not want a park there. My problem with Jefferson, Skyar and Rick is they say they want to limit development. Admirable goal. I think every candidate has the same goal. My problem is so far they refuse to say how they will do it. Jefferson. Skylar, Rick: Specifically, how do you plan to accomplish your goals? It is one thing to promise a free lunch during the campaign and quite another to deliver on promises if elected.
