In response to “Cilantro,” published on May 31.
Hi Burt. Got a laugh out of your take on cilantro because as one who prepares a lot of Mexican dishes for my family (taught to me by one of my sons-in-law who grew up in Mexico), I long ago learned that there are cilantro lovers and cilantro haters. So that no one throws it on the floor (a la Julia Child), I always serve it on the side and everyone is happy.
(P.S. I happen to like that earthy, fresh-tasting herb.)
