Kaliko Orian of Kaliko Farms presented dozens of eggs to Council Member Mikke Pierson, who helped save many of her chicken during the Woolsey Fire.
Orian lost 80 percent of her flock during the fire, local resident Maggie Luckerath said in an email to The Malibu Times.
The eggs were presented after a session held by Sheila Kuehl at Pepperdine University on Saturday, Feb. 23.
