The Welsh Choir of Southern California, or the “C™r Cymraeg De Califfornia” in Welsh, will perform at Malibu United Methodist Church April 1 at 4 p.m. The theme of the spring concert is “Do the Little Things’ and will feature a selection of Welsh hymns and folk songs.

The Welsh Choir of Southern California is a multiethnic choir that brings Welsh music and culture to audiences worldwide through performance and recordings. The group features a 25-member mixed-voice choir and several musicians and soloists. Singing in English and Welsh, their repertoire includes both new music featuring contemporary Welsh poets and composers, as well as traditional hymns and folk songs. The choir was formed in 1997 and is a nondenominational group of men and women from across the Southland.

The suggested donation is $20, or $15 for seniors, students and military personnel. For more information and tickets, visit malibuumc.org.
