An interception returned for a touchdown, a 27-yard pass for a score, a blocked punt that led to another score and a whole more led to the Malibu High football team beating Beverly Hills, 62-7, on Aug. 31.

The Sharks, firing on all cylinders, scored 55 points before halftime in the road contest. The win gave Malibu a 3-0 record.

The Sharks’ next game is 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 14 at Hueneme.

The 25-member squad, coached by Terry Shorten, defeated Mark Keppel, 47-0, to open the season on Aug. 17. Malibu beat Viewpoint, 27-13, seven days later.

The Sharks’ next home game is on Sept. 28 against Santa Clara at 6:30 p.m.
