Have you noticed all of the new signs throughout Malibu? What is going on here? It is really ugly! I feel like Caltrans is littering our town with too much signage! Take the bridge over Malibu Lagoon for an example. What in the heck are all of those signs doing on that bridge? Couldn’t they have simply painted the curb red to make the same point that you cannot stop or park on the bridge? Doesn’t everyone know what a red curb means? Why do you have to have all of those signs littering the bridge to make that point? Furthermore, wouldn’t it have been cheaper to paint the curb red instead of making and posting all of those signs? I thought our state is experiencing a serious budget crisis. Shouldn’t Caltrans be thinking of ways to save money on projects like these? As a tax payer I expect them to! I also expect them to consider the aesthetic effect of all of this signage
