The Malibu nonprofit Safety Harbor Kids will be hosting its 7th Annual Spirit of Goodwill Holiday Party at Duke’s on Sunday, Dec. 8th.

Film and television star Malcolm McDowell, radio personality Hal Sparks, Grammy-winning guitarist Albert Lee and other celebrities are set to attend this year’s party, which will benefit 250 orphans, foster and homeless children.

The event will also feature Santana lead vocalist Andy Vargas, Little Feat guitarist Fred Tackett and Quincy Jones’s international sensation, Blush. Tesla Motors will also have a Model S, the 2013 World Green Car of the Year, on display for the evening.

In addition to musical performances and motivational speakers, the children in attendance will enjoy a variety of enrichment activities, including music and art lessons, toy making, college and career planning, a foreign language workshop and a science lab. After the activities, Duke’s will provide a full holiday dinner for each child. Mr. and Mrs. Claus will appear after dinner to provide each child with gifts and holiday stockings full of goodies and school supplies.

A 501c3 nonprofit founded in 2007, the mission of Safety Harbor Kids is to “enrich the lives of disadvantaged children through education in the areas of College, Career and the Arts.” Sharon Stone’s Planet Hope Foundation supports Safety Harbor Kids, as do many stars including McDowell.
