Our Lady of Malibu second-graders recently took part in a project where they portrayed American historical figures who have passed away. As a part of the “Living Wax Museum” project, students researched their subject, created costumes, and memorized and presented a 30-second speech over the course of a month.
The final project featured Charlotte Flores as Helen Keller; Olivia Williamson as Amelia Earhart; Daniela O’Neill as Walt Disney; Kate Hall as Princess Grace Kelly; Anabelle Rottman as Edith Head; Collin Mudd as Steve Jobs; Henno Hopp as Duke Kahanamoku; Addison Arlidge as Dr. Seuss; Clayton Smith as Donald Douglas; Dexter Guillemot as Jackie Robinson; Sophia Hall as Lucille Ball; Sofia Gillen as Rosa Parks; Cassius Griesemer as Albert Einstein and Tristan Godwin as Roberto Clemente.
