The Malibu High School Sharks varsity baseball team earned a 5-4 win in their conference opening game versus Carpinteria High School March 24. The Sharks came from behind to win the game, with help from a home base steal by Frank Thomas. Hunter Johnson aided in keeping the team alive while at bat, delivering hard hits at key moments. Other notable players of the game include senior Parker Phillips and freshman Noah Simon.
