In response to “Land secured for wildlife corridor across 101 Freeway,” published Dec. 1.
I like the article — it was informative and interesting. I wanted to point out a factual error. There are other cities that have carnivores in the city limits. I just moved back to the U.S. from Nairobi. Nairobi has a national park in the city limits and I have seen lions, myself, in the park. There are also news stories online about lions ending up on the streets of Nairobi.
I suggest not making blanket statements unless you are 100 percent sure.
I found the comment about Mumbai a teaser. It would have been nice to provide some additional information instead of just one line.
