The LA County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help in locating 30-year-old Jennifer Michelle Lorber. The Colorado resident went missing sometime after 11 p.m. on May 23 in Malibu, per authorities.
She was staying in a motel within city limits, at the 22000 block of Pacific Coast Highway. Lorber had also rented a 2018 white Toyota Rav4, which was found abandoned near Paradise Cove by authorities after midnight on Sunday, May 27, as confirmed by Deputy Schrader.
Lorber is described as a 5 feet 1 inch tall, 100-pound female with brown hair and brown eyes. Per an online statement from LASD, “The missing person suffers from depression, and the family is concerned for her well being.”
Early Tuesday morning, May 28, the sheriff’s department shared on social media that rescue boats were deployed near Malibu beach areas and kelp beds to search for Lorber.
