For the last several weeks I have noticed increased police activity in Malibu. It seems the black and whites and motorcycle cops are everywhere. They are hiding behind bushes. Cars are secluded in driveways waiting to write speeding tickets. Speed traps!
A local gas station witnessed and counted a car being pulled over once every minute. They start at 5 a.m. every morning. Is this protect and serve? I realize the state needs money but is this the way to go about it? Then the noise of wailing sirens! The police seem to be condescending and all-knowing.
When pulled over, we are treated like criminals. They rummage through your cars without a warrant. This is police harassment and bullying.
