Injury Crash Closes Eastbound PCH Lane Near Moonshadows

The outside eastbound lane of Pacific Coast Highway was shut down in eastern Malibu on Thursday afternoon as emergency personnel worked to clear a multi-vehicle accident.

The accident, which according to eyewitnesses involved a sedan and an SUV, caused unspecified injuries to at least one person.

"I don’t know the extent of injuries," Lt. Seetoo told The Malibu Times, "I know I did have someone transported to UCLA hospital." 

According to sheriffs with the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff Station, the closure, which has caused backups as far as Sweetwater Canyon Dr., was estimated to last until 5 p.m.
