The City of Malibu will host a second meeting to discuss the Point Dume Traffic Management Plan on Tuesday, Feb. 23, at Point Dume Marine Science School at 6:30 p.m.
The Traffic Management Plan is currently being developed with the goal of analyzing existing conditions in the Point Dume neighborhood and developing recommendations to reduce vehicle speeds and improve safety for vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists.Â
Tuesday’s meeting will cover current Point Dume traffic conditions, discuss potential features to improve traffic safety — including speed humps, signage and parking — and respond to community input received during the first traffic meeting that took place on Nov. 12, 2015.
The city is accepting community input when identifying and determining the plan’s traffic safety improvements. Written comments may be submitted by email to Rob DuBoux at rduboux@malibucity.org.
