Pepperdine University’s Smothers Theatre on Monday will play host to a debate between Pepperdine University professors on the presidential election. Douglas Kmiec from the School of Law will defend the Barack Obama/Joseph Biden campaign and Robert Kaufman from the School of Public Policy will argue in support of the John McCain/Sarah Palin ticket.
Both professors are conservatives, but Kmiec has come out in support of the Democratic duo, to the surprise of many. The professors sat down with The Malibu Times, which is cosponsoring the debate, this past week for question and answer sessions.
