An old man finds a “Cafe” coffee cup along Pacific Coast Highway, which he starts to toss into the Pacific Ocean. The Cup says, “Let me go, old man. I will reward you for my freedom by giving you anything you desire.” The old man, obviously following the directions of his commissioner wife, makes wish after wish. Finally, the Cup decides the old man and his wife are being too gluttonous and takes all the wishes away. The man and his wife then hire attorney Johnny Cochran and sue the Malibu City government for not having city regulations in place to prevent Wishing Cups from unfairly retracting magical spoils. The judge rules in their favor and both are given 500 million dollars worth of city taxpayer funds, with which they live happily ever after.
The Moral of the Story: It’s the City of Malibu’s responsibility to fix every bad thing that happens to its citizens (sure).
And that is all I have to say.
