On the evening of Saturday, May 28, a Jeep Grand Cherokee was reported submerged in a Pepperdine University swimming pool.
The driver was backing up the jeep around 6 p.m. when it jumped the curb, hit a fence and dropped about 10 feet into the pool, which was located on Via De Casa at Pepperdine’s Drescher Graduate Campus, according to abc11.com.
California Highway Patrol responded to the call and called for a tow truck to pull the vehicle out of the pool, according to patch.com. The driver, a 27-year-old woman, suffered minor injuries. Officials said neither alcohol nor drugs were a factor in the crash.
