Malibu United girls U14 team wins Apricot Jam championship. The Malibu United AYSO girls U14 team won the Apricot Jam championship. United beat Moorpark with a 4-0 shutout in the first game of pool play. In the next game, the girls beat Newbury Park 2-0. The last game of pool play was against Thousand Oaks. Malibu won with a score of 3-0. 

The championship game went into overtime as Malibu faced Van Nuys. The game was decided with penalty kicks, with Malibu scoring three out of four.
