Malibu local Ben Landsbury qualified for three events at the Los Angeles County Junior Lifeguard Regional Team tryouts at Dockweiler State Beach July 19. Landsbury earned first place in both the run and the paddle competition, placed among the top of the flags competition and qualified for the Regional Team.
