A mother and son found dead in a charred car during the Woolsey fire in a canyon in western Malibu last month have been identified.

The two were identified as Anthony Noubar Baklayan, 57, of Oak Park … and Shoushan Baklayan, 82, of Malibu.

They apparently burned to death in a car …  although that has not been completely confirmed by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office.

According to deputies … the son had fled from his home in Oak Park as the flames approached there …. and headed south into the Santa Monica Mountains to rescue his mother.

The fire overtook them on a long, winding driveway.

A third person … an elderly man … was found in a burned home in the 32000 block of Lobo Canyon Road in Agoura Hills.
