Webster Elementary School students and parents worked together on Friday, Sept. 1, to send supplies to the Houston area to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey. Working with the nonprofit ArtMix Houston, Webster kids collected much-needed items such as diapers, baby clothes and other necessities for the youngest victims of the hurricane, which swept through Texas last week causing billions of dollars in damages and leaves millions without homes.

In addition to the generous item donations, Webster parents also donated money to pay for the necessities to be shipped to Texas.Â
