Los Angeles County Sheriff’s arrested one person in a parole compliance sweep Thursday morning in Malibu.
A team of sheriff’s visited six Malibu locations and conducted three site searches to “make sure that everybody who’s on parole is complying with the terms of their parole,” according to Sgt. Lupian of the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station.
Details of the person arrested for violating their parole were unavailable.
The county’s 18-person parole compliance team is assigned to monitor parolees throughout the county and conduct sweeps like the one today.
