Dr. Wei Tzuoh Chen, a nephrologist, is putting his beachside Malibu home for sale at $45 million—payable by bitcoin.

As reported by CNBC, the 9,000-square foot home was designed by local architect Ed Niles. In 2015, The Wall Street Journal reported that the unusual home took $15 million and “nearly six years to build.”

The house’s design takes into consideration its beachside location as well as Chen’s Taiwanese roots. The result is a spacious, glass-heavy design to bring light and shadows into the home.

Chen, who has already invested in cryptocurrency, said he is willing to take a risk by accepting bitcoin as payment. The value of bitcoin fluctuates greatly due to, among other factors, supply and demand. As of writing, one bitcoin is equal to 13,560 dollars. Due to its fluctuating valuation, Chen could be receiving more or less than his asking price if he were to accept a bitcoin offer.
