Movie Screening at Malibu Bluffs Park

On Saturday, Aug. 27, the City of Malibu will host a free screening of “Finding Nemo” at Malibu Bluffs Park. The movie will begin at sunset; sunset on that day will be around 7:30 p.m.

There will be games and crafts for kids as well as a “special appearance from an undersea character,” according to an email to The Malibu Times.

Everyone is encouraged to bring recycling and grocery bags “which will benefit Heal the Bay’s Recycling Bag Drive.” The bags will be reused at the annual Coastal Clean Up Day.

Food will be available for purchase, including Berlin food truck. Apollo’s Expresso and Shave Ice will also be selling desserts at the park.

Ocean conservation information and a hands-on cooking demonstration will be provided.

Seating is first-come, first-served and attendees can bring in outside food. Alcohol will be prohibited on park grounds.
