A fundraiser took place at 5 Point Yoga on Saturday night by kid’s aerial class instructor Valentina Izyumova and her students to raise money for the Nepal earthquake survivors. Izyumova, who travels regularly to Nepal, had the idea to host a fundraiser at the studio after seeing the devastating effects. With a variety of unique skills using silk, hoop and trapeze, each student created their own routine, performing for the cause.
Since its inception, the kid’s aerial program has doubled in size, with students ranging from age eight to 12. “The girls had an absolutely amazing performance. I am so proud of each of them,” Izyumova shared.
