The Malibu Sharks junior lacrosse team won the Lacrosse Jamboree at Palisades High School last weekend.
The local team was an underdog in the competition, as they were competing against teams from all over Los Angeles county that are comprised of only U11 age boys, while the Sharks team includes four U9 players and three U11.
The Malibu group came together to win the day, losing only one game.
