Haiden Bohm participated in the Junior Olympics, competing in girls volleyball, in the Junior Girls National Championship, in Minneapolis, Minn. Her club team, the Sunshine Volleyball Club Westside 14’s, placed third in the country, earning them the bronze medal.
This is the third year in a row Bohm’s team has made it to the Junior Olympics. They also won the bronze medal their first year at the competition. The team earned their spot at Nationals by placing in the top 10 in the Southern California Volleyball Association, a division with more than 400 teams.
Bohm will start ninth grade at Malibu High School this fall. The team started practice Monday, July 14.
