Update 4:10 p.m. : Northbound traffic on Corral Canyon Road is currently closed due to the accident, and is expected to remain so for one hour. Southbound traffic is currently moving, Sgt. Johnson of the Malibu / Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station said.
A dump truck rolled over about 1 mile north of Pacific Coast Highway on Corral Canyon in Malibu, causing traffic slowing in both directions, Sheriff’s officials said. The accident was reported around 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
No other cars appeared to have been involved and the driver of the truck may have suffered “some minor injuries,” Lt. Mathers of the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station said.
The truck was carrying asphalt. Mathers did not know which side of the road the roll-over occurred but by 1:45 p.m. he said the accident was off to the side of the road and “cars are able to get through.”
