The Los Angeles County Sheriff ’s Department’s Cycling Team hosted Honor Ride, with participation by Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s deputies. This was the third annual ride, which followed a course in the Malibu/Lost Hills area. The event was organized by Ride2Recovery and took place throughout the country to support and honor military and civilian personnel by raising funds and awareness for the mental and physical rehabilitation of Healing Heroes.
A 62-mile course winded through the hills of Calabasas, Agoura Hills and Malibu, extending into Ventura County. The one-day rides are activities that almost all patients with mental and physical disabilities can participate. Participation in the Ride2Recovery program can help speed up the rehabilitation process.
