Our Lady of Malibu School students explained science projects to judges at the school’s annual Science Fair, under the guidance of Dr. Tom Vandergon and science teacher Laura Retts.
In the fifth grade division: first place went to Sophie McGlynn and Ana Muldoon; second place, Jacqueline and Nicole Reynaga; third place, Ellie Eddins, Grace Flynn and Tijes Kline; honorable mention Amalie Kamen and Jade Calabria. In the middle school division: first place went to Grace Colburn and Sabrina Dion; second place, Jade and Lana King; third place, Ama Allan and Jacquelyn Neuner; honorable mention, Evelyn Himburg, Ashlyn Kunerth and Caitlin Flynn and David Sagona and Nicholas Vandergon.Â
Jade and Lana King won second place with their study of thermal conductivity of metals.
