I just read the information about the transition that will be going on at the Malibu Animal Hospital and the Canine Connection. I can’t believe that Dr. Nancy Smith can be ousted like that with so little tact and diplomacy. Her facility and staff have been there for our pets for years, and we rely on them and trust them implicitly. Dr. Lisa Newell is her hands-on vet in attendance, and has such compassion and love for the animals in her care, it is not to be surpassed or substituted by any vet I know. Dr. Smith was very wise to use her expertise.
I have been a client for 15 years, and I don’t live in Malibu. I live in Pacific Palisades, and take that drive up the coast to Malibu for the care that this hospital and day care provide so willingly and with great devotion. I hope this is not another example of throwing the baby out with the bathwater.
